Privacy policy

In accordance with article 13 of EU Regulation no. 679/2016, setting forth provisions to protect people and other parties with respect to the processing of personal data, we hereby inform you that the personal data that you provide shall be subjected to processing in respect to the aforesaid regulation and the BELTRAMI LINEN company’s confidentiality obligations.

Prices and payment methods

Beltrami Boutique serves private clients only.

The price of our products, as indicated on our website, does not include VAT, which shall be applied upon payment if due. The buyer is responsible for any taxes and customs fees in compliance with existing norms in the country of destination of the products.

We accept payments by bank transfer or credit card via PayPal (Mastercard, Visa, and American Express). You will be charged when the order is placed; the order itself will be processed upon recepit of payment. PayPal shall automatically send a sales recepit to the client’s e-mail address.

All transactions are charged in Euros (unless specified otherwise). If payment is made in another currency, it will be converted into euros at the exchange rate in force on the day of purchase, without any additional costs.

The prices indicated on the website are in euros. By selecting the relevant options, clients can see an estimate of the price in USD or in British Pounds on the basis of www.google.com/finance. Nevertheless, the client’s bank may apply a different interest rate, and as a consequence the price of the transaction may not exactly match the amount shown in the shopping cart.

Delivery times

Average delivery time is 4 weeks from receipt of payment. Important: should it be impossible to process the order within 4 weeks, the Client shall be informed of such in a timely manner.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs will be charged to the Client, and are specified during the checkout process before the order is completed. These costs are calculated automatically on the basis of the value of the order and the country of destination. Shipping costs are not covered by discount vouchers.

Shipping costs for Italy are € 15 for orders up to € 250.
Shipping is free for Italy for orders over € 250.

European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Irish Republic, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom): € 15 for orders up to € 250.  5% of the value of purchased goods for orders between € 251 and € 6.500. 3% of the value of purchased goods for orders exceeding € 6.500

Switzerland and Luxembourg: € 15 for orders up to € 250.  5% of the value of purchased goods for orders between € 251 and € 6.500. 3% of the value of purchased goods for orders exceeding € 6.500

Rest of the world (Non-EU Europe, the Americas, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific): € 25 for orders up to € 250. 10% of the value of purchased goods for orders over € 250. 8% of the value of purchased goods for orders exceeding a total of € 6.500.

Beltrami Linen Srl uses DHL as its courier worldwide. After your order is dispatched you will receive an e-mail with a tracking code so you can check your order’s delivery status on the DHL website.

The courier is responsible for delivery. Beltrami Linen Srl agrees to accept through its Customer Service any notifications of missed or late deliveries and, if necessary, assist Clients in upholding their rights under law.

Returns and refunds

All the Beltrami Boutique products are made to order, that is they are specially manufactured for each customer.
Therefore, Beltrami Linen Srl reserves the right not to accept any returns, unless the purchased products show some actual defects, and only after a written agreement between the Customer and the Company, as “custom made goods” are not included in the refund policy as defined by the Consumer Code (L. D. 206 dated September 6th 2005).

Should you wish to apply for a refund, please send an e-mail to [email protected], clearly indicating why you are applying, and attach a copy of the original invoice (a scanned copy or a legible photo) plus one or more pictures of the reported defects.

After receiving a written refund acceptation from Beltrami Linen Srl, you may return the defective products, provided this happens within 14 days from the original date of receipt of the goods.
Please make sure that the products are exactly as received and in their original labeled packaging.

The return shipping costs are at the Customer’s expense.

Note: Beltrami Linen Srl is not liable for the delivery service chosen by the Customer and for the resulting lead time.
When returning the goods, please make sure you keep the shipper’s receipt until the entire return procedure has been completed.

Should the Customer return the products after the mentioned 14 days from the original receipt date, Beltrami Linen Srl will have the right to send them back to the address provided at the original order, and charge the Customer the corresponding costs.

Refunds

Beltrami Linen Srl is headquartered in Italy: therefore all transactions, including those in foreign currency, are converted to Euros. Even if the goods were paid for in a currency other than Euros, Beltrami Linen Srl will refund the amount in Euros. The currency value is therefore calculated using the exchange rate of the day the refund is made. Clients bear the risk of any exchange-rate fluctuations.

Beltrami Linen srl specifies that with reference to orders paid by credit card, refunds may take up to four weeks to appear on your card statement.

Defective products

We strive to achieve 100% client satisfaction and to always provide products of the highest quality. However, should there be a problem with or a defect in any of the products you purchased please contact our Customer Service or send an e-mail with a photo of the defect or tear to [email protected] together with a copy of your purchase receipt (a scanned copy or legible photo).

If the problem is caused by a defect in Beltrami’s fabric or sewing, we will supply you with a new product at no extra cost.

Copyright and registered trademarks

The design of Boutique Beltrami and all relative material (e.g. trademarks, logos, HTML code, scripts, copy, graphics, photos) are an integral part of the Boutique and covered by copyright. Any unauthorised use of said material – copying, framing or associating with content which did not originate from this e-shop – is prohibited and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Applicable law

The Conditions of Sale described here, along with the Sales Contracts, are governed by Italian law (in particular Legislative Decree no. 206 dated 06/09/2005 – whose articles from 50 to 67 govern distance contracts – and Legislative Decree no. 70 dated 09/04/2003 covering e-commerce) and shall be construed accordingly.
Any dispute arising from the Conditions of Sale and/or Sales Contracts shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Bergamo.
